The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, sales performance, staff management, customer service, inventory control, and profitability of the branch. The role ensures smooth daily operations while maintaining company standards and achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Performance
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor branch sales performance and implement strategies to improve revenue.
- Promote company products, campaigns, and promotions effectively.
- Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities for growth.
2. Branch Operations
- Manage daily branch operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and operational standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and overall branch presentation.
- Handle branch administrative matters and documentation.
3. Staff Management
- Lead, supervise, and motivate branch employees.
- Prepare staff duty rosters and manage manpower effectively.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and performance.
- Conduct coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure staff provide excellent customer service.
4. Inventory & Stock Control
- Monitor stock levels and ensure product availability.
- Conduct regular stock checks and stock take activities.
- Minimize stock discrepancies, damages, and wastage.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Purchasing departments regarding stock requirements.
5. Customer Service
- Ensure customers receive excellent service and support.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
- Build positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
6. Financial Management
- Monitor branch expenses and operational costs.
- Ensure accurate cash handling, banking, and financial reporting.
- Verify daily sales reports and cash reconciliations.
7. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain workplace safety and security standards.
- Report incidents, losses, or operational issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Business Administration and Management or equivalent
- 2 - 3 years experience in sales & marketing preferably in bakery industry
- Good awareness of market trend
- Computer literate
- Possesses own transport
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
