About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise infrastructure initiatives. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, governance standards, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, enabling effective collaboration with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders. You will play a key role in managing project risks, optimizing resources, and ensuring successful delivery across multiple sites and environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end management of infrastructure projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic goals.
- Conduct project feasibility and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making.
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Ensure compliance with organizational governance frameworks, policies, and project management standards.
- Provide regular project status updates and reporting to stakeholders and management.
- Facilitate project reviews and recommend adjustments to schedules, budgets, or resource allocations as required.
- Assess business and technology changes that may impact project objectives and implementation plans.
Agile Project Management
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives where applicable.
- Remove project roadblocks and drive resolution of issues impacting delivery.
- Support backlog prioritization and ensure alignment between business requirements and project outcomes.
Team Leadership
- Manage project budgets, resource planning, and work allocation across project teams.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Coach and mentor team members to support professional growth and capability development.
- Facilitate effective communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution among stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience delivering enterprise IT infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing infrastructure initiatives involving servers, networks, systems, cloud platforms, data centres, or enterprise technology environments.
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, multi-site or regional infrastructure deployments.
- Experience managing project budgets, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, systems, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- PMP, Agile/Scrum certification, or equivalent project management qualifications.
- Experience in regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
