Dormakaba Group Hiring! Full Time Finance - Controlling Manager in Johor - Ricebowl

Position Overview

Dorma Hüppe is looking for a Finance & Controlling Manager who will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Finance function across the APAC region.

Reporting directly to the VP APAC Movable Walls and functionally to the SVP Finance of the Segment , the role ensures robust financial processes, compliance with applicable regulations (Malaysia and Australia), and provides strategic decision support to management.

What you will do

• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and accounting records, in compliance with applicable financial regulations
• Establish and maintain effective controlling structures and processes, taking corrective actions when required
• Provide financial insights to support cost optimization, risk management, and market-oriented decision-making
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, supported by financial modeling and analysis within the APAC scope
• Act as a business partner to management, contributing to the development of business strategies and identifying financial priorities and opportunities
• Support managers and directors in improving financial performance through KPI analysis, benchmarking, and best practices
• Oversee local IT and SAP systems related to Finance operations
Manage business licenses, regulatory filings, and certifications, including MITI, LMW, and ISO standards

What we require

• At least 15 years of experience in Finance and Controlling roles, ideally in an international environment
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, planning, and analysis
• Business partnering mindset with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
• Experience in managing external relationships with auditors, tax advisors, legal authorities, financial institutions, and analysts
• Proven experience in team leadership and people management
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented approach
Strong communication skills and high level of professional integrity
