Job Descriptions:

• Generate accurate cost estimates during the tender process, factoring in materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Responsible for comprehensive contract administration and documentation, including the preparation and analysis of detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs while maintaining quality and functionality.
• Evaluate changes to project scope, draft variation orders, and ensure proper documentation.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
• Submit progress claims by the 25th of each month, ensuring client payment certificates are issued within 14 days and prepare subcontractor payment certificates by the 25th of each month and ensure certificates are issued by the 7th of the following month.
• Identify potential financial risks and recommend strategies for mitigation, ensuring the financial stability of the project.
• Monitoring and controlling project costs, including the site measurement, provide accurate and timely valuation of works as well as preparation of contractual documents such as progress claims, payment certificates, variation of contract works, final costs and recommending for cost control.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, industry standards, and best practices in quantity surveying.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, site managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and coordination of project costs.
• Maintain a high level of safety throughout the execution of assigned tasks and strictly adhere to the HSE policy.
• Promote a safe working environment across all project activities.

Job Requirements:

• A Diploma or bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
• To be based in Kuching, Sarawak.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
