Machine Analysis Setting Specialist

Location: Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

We are assisting an established kitchen furniture manufacturing company in Seremban to source a suitable candidate for the position of Machine Analysis Setting Specialist.

The company is involved in manufacturing, design, marketing, and servicing for both local and overseas customers. It focuses on practical and functional designs, environmentally friendly high-quality timber products, and technology-driven production.

This role is suitable for candidates with hands-on experience in automated industrial machinery, machine setting, PLC systems, HMI operation, VFD calibration, surface coating lines, thermal curing systems, and production line troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, calibrate, and optimize automated flat-panel production lines
• Operate and configure HMI systems such as Shihlin, Kinco, Siemens, or similar systems
• Adjust machine parameters, VFD frequencies, line speed, thermal profiles, and production settings based on product specifications
• Monitor and calibrate multi-zone thermal curing and drying systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, sensor, and safety interlock issues
• Analyze machine data logs, HMI telemetry, cycle-time metrics, and production performance
• Support preventive maintenance planning for heavy processing machinery, roller heads, conveyors, ventilation systems, and blowers
• Work with R&D and engineering teams for new materials, coatings, trial runs, and process improvements
• Maintain machine setting records, PLC modification logs, thermal profiles, and maintenance documentation
• Train operators on HMI usage, machine handling, safety procedures, and emergency controls
• Ensure compliance with DOSH and industrial safety requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation Control, or related technical field
• At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in automated industrial machinery, PLC systems, machine setting, roller coating, or thermal curing/drying lines
• Experience with HMI systems such as Shihlin, Kinco, Siemens, or equivalent industrial interfaces
• Strong knowledge of VFDs, sensors, machine calibration, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and industrial heating elements
• Able to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams, and technical blueprints
• Strong troubleshooting, data analysis, and operator training skills
• Mandarin proficiency is required
• Experience in manufacturing, wood manufacturing, kitchen furniture manufacturing, panel-processing, surface coating, or automated production lines will be an added advantage
