About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Executive to join the dynamic team at GASOFFSHORE in Miri, Sarawak. As an Accounts Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial records and processes for the company. This full-time position offers the chance to work in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Reviewing and supporting the accounting team, by ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of the accounting records.

2. Preparing management reports and statements for month end processes

3. Preparing financial reports and statements for year end processes and any statutory submissions

4. Providing financial data and analysis to support business decision-making

5. Liaising with clients, suppliers and relevant stakeholders

6. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

1. Relevant degree or professional qualification in Accounting or a related field

2. At least 3 years of experience in a similar accounts executive role

3. At least 1 year of experience in supervisory role and demonstrated leadership abilities

4. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

5. Good communication and interpersonal skills

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
