Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific discipline.

• Minimum 1 year working experience in relevant science field.

• Working experience in related field with knowledge in working with instrument/laboratory environment is a bonus.

• Self-motivated and result oriented, able to plan and execute task in timely basis.

• Able to work under pressure and perform within tight deadlines.

• Good communication skills and able to work with all employees at different levels in the organization hierarchy

Duties and responsibilities:

• Carry out quality testing of pre-shipment samples, incoming raw materials and finished products to relevant standard and testing requirements.

• Maintain, troubleshoot and operate multiple pieces of equipment necessary to conduct testing/experiments.

• Responsible in calibration and maintenance of laboratory instrument/equipment.

• Accurately input and document analytical data into necessary analytical and plant process logs.

• Ensure that proper safety attitudes, procedures and housekeeping are maintained on all work programs and conducts work in a manner that protect self, co-workers, the environment and the safety of the community.

• Ensure lab area is kept clean and audit ready.

• Responsible to keep, organize and maintain all retained samples.

• Maintain inventory record of chemicals, apparatus and lab consumables.

• Monitor and implement correct laboratory waste disposal.

• Assist as backup and support to internal associates when required.

• Assist with any tasks assigned by the management.
