QC Engineer (Manufacturing)
Responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements before delivery. This role involves developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and liaising with stakeholders, authorities, and customers to maintain compliance and continuous improvement.
Job Description
Quality Assurance & Control
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures aligned with ISO standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with requirements and semiconductor industry standards.
Process Improvement
- Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve processes and reduce defects.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, and audit documentation.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with Malaysian regulations and Japanese HQ requirements.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
Stakeholder & Authority Engagement
- Liaise with government authorities, certification bodies, and customers on quality-related matters.
- Provide technical support and quality updates to management and external stakeholders.
- Represent the company during regulatory inspections and customer audits.
Team Collaboration & Training
- Work closely with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure quality standards are upheld.
- Train and guide operators and technicians on quality procedures and best practices.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness across the organization.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or related field).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality control within manufacturing (semiconductor/plastics).
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards, and Malaysian regulatory requirements.
- Experience with quality tools (SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D reports).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and quality management software.
- Able to speak, read and write Mandarin is a must
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
