About Us
Pasaraya AM Trading Sdn Bhd is one of Sabah's growing retail chains with outlets across Sabah and Sarawak. We are continuously expanding and upgrading our stores, offices, warehouses, and commercial properties.
We are seeking a creative and highly organized Interior Designer to lead and manage renovation, fit-out, and interior design projects from concept development to project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop interior design concepts, mood boards, layouts, and space planning proposals.
- Prepare design presentations, drawings, and material specifications.
- Coordinate renovation and fit-out works for retail stores, offices, warehouses, and company properties.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and local authorities.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct site visits and supervise renovation progress.
- Source furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting, and decorative materials.
- Review contractor quotations and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure all projects are completed according to design intent and company requirements.
- Manage multiple renovation projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in interior design, renovation, or fit-out projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, 3D Max, or similar design software.
- Strong understanding of construction details, materials, and interior finishes.
- Good project coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage project deadlines.
- Willing to travel within Sabah and Sarawak when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in retail store design and fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of renovation costing and project budgeting.
- Experience dealing with contractors and suppliers.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
