• Patrol Hospital premises and wards at a regular interval.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, patients, visitors and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• To carry out proper crowd control and protect property.
• Prepare reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrence.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance system to observe for any suspicious persons loitering or behaviour.
• Act as the Fire Safety Officer on duty to notify the Fire Team leader through the receptionist the location of fire based from the CCTV footage.
• Direct all enquiries on Hospital procedures, Hospital personnel or patients to the relevant authorities.
• Records and issues security passes to vendors, supplies or contractors.
• Carry out physical key check daily and to ensure proper safekeeping of keys.
• Direct traffic within the Hospital’s premises during construction or evacuation to ensure the smooth flow of traffic within the hospital compound.
• Conduct security search on personnel belongings, lockers and Hospital compound when required.
• Answer alarm and investigate disturbance. Act as emergency response team in directing patient to safer ground at the assembly point during Emergency code.
