JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ DESCRIPTIONS:

• Handle the end-to-end procurement process including sourcing, price negotiation, issuance of purchase orders, and delivery coordination.

• Evaluate vendor proposals and establish supplier contracts based on price, quality, delivery, and service.

• Liaise and coordinate with both local and international suppliers to ensure accurate specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines

• Ensure that all procurement documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company policy and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., project, finance, logistic) to forecast purchasing needs and meet operational timelines.

• Monitor supplier performance, maintain vendor records, and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing.

• Assist in tender or RFQ processes, comparative analysis, and procurement reporting.

• Stay informed on market trends, cost fluctuations, and alternative suppliers to recommend cost-saving strategies.

• Support internal and external audits by ensuring proper documentation and process compliance.

REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.

• Minimum 4-6 years of procurement experience

• Experience in dealing with international suppliers, including familiarity with shipping terms and documentation.

• Solid understanding of purchasing procedures, vendor management, and procurement documentation.

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple procurement tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems (e.g., AutoCount) is beneficial.

• Highly organized, responsible, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; ability to communicate in a third language such as Mandarin is an added advantage
