About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Business Development Executive to join Hicomi Sdn Bhd in Sungai Siput, Perak. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in identifying, nurturing, and converting new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and market expansion. As a Business Development Executive, you will be at the forefront of our sales strategy, responsible for building relationships with potential clients and establishing new revenue streams that contribute directly to the company's success and competitive advantage in the marketplace.

What you'll be doing

1. Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting activities

2. Developing and implementing strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives

3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders

4. Conducting product and service presentations to potential clients and addressing their business needs

5. Preparing and delivering compelling proposals and pitches tailored to client requirements

6. Negotiating terms and agreements with new business partners to secure contracts

7. Monitoring market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities

8. Collaborating with internal teams including sales, marketing, and operations to ensure smooth client onboarding and delivery

9. Maintaining accurate records of business development activities and pipeline management using CRM systems

10. Reporting on business development metrics and providing regular updates on progress towards targets

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in business development, new business sales, or a similar sales role within a competitive environment

2. Strong track record of successfully identifying and closing new business deals

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.

4. Demonstrable ability to research market opportunities and develop strategic business plans

5. Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

7. Self-motivated and proactive approach to prospecting and lead generation

8. Strong negotiation and persuasion skill

9. Willingness to travel locally as required for client meetings and networking activities

10. Fluency in English, Cantonese/Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred to effectively communicate with Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking clients.
