About the Role
Are you a procurement professional with a passion for sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management? We are looking for a Senior Procurement Executive to join our Procurement team and play a key role in ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and quality acquisition of goods and services that support our business operations.
In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive procurement excellence, optimize costs, ensure compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
Procurement Strategy & Planning
- Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand operational requirements and forecast procurement needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, efficiency, and overall value delivery.
Sourcing, Tendering & Contract Management
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, tender preparation, evaluation, and award recommendations.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to secure the best value for the organization.
- Monitor and manage contract performance to ensure compliance with agreed terms and deliverables.
Vendor Management & Due Diligence
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery performance, and service capability.
- Conduct supplier due diligence and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while resolving issues proactively.
Procurement Operations & Compliance
- Review and process purchase requisitions in accordance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Ensure procurement specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules are accurate and timely.
- Maintain compliance with procurement governance, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Cost Control & Financial Management
- Monitor procurement spending and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Track and report cost-saving initiatives and procurement value contributions.
- Support financial discipline through effective cost management practices.
Stakeholder Management & Service Delivery
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure procurement activities support operational needs.
- Provide procurement advice on sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and specifications.
- Ensure procurement services meet agreed timelines and service expectations.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Prepare procurement reports covering spend analysis, supplier performance, compliance, and cost savings.
- Analyze procurement data to support decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for reporting and audit purposes.
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or related functions.
- Experience managing sourcing activities, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing methodologies, and contract management.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and software such as SAP, AutoCount, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret procurement data and spending trends.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, governance, and ethical procurement practices.
