Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to the Head of Innovation and Executive Director. The Talent Acquisition Executive (Recruitment & Training) will play a key role in attracting, developing, and retaining talent across the organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities, driving onboarding and training initiatives, and partnering with department heads to build a high-performing workforce. This role offers the opportunity to shape employee development programs and contribute directly to Hup Soon's growth journey.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding new employees.
- Partner with department heads to identify manpower requirements and training needs.
- Develop and implement structured onboarding and orientation programmes for new hires.
- Coordinate and monitor On-The-Job Training (OJT) initiatives across departments and outlets.
- Prepare and manage Training Needs Analysis (TNA), annual training calendars, and training effectiveness evaluations.
- Maintain and administer all training-related documentation, records, materials, and schedules.
- Follow up on outlet performance reviews and support employee development initiatives.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and best practices are consistently implemented across all branches.
- Support employee engagement, retention, and talent development programs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Human Resource function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Recruitment, Learning & Development, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, onboarding, and employee development practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia is required to effectively communicate with employees, candidates, and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in retail, food & beverage, FMCG, or multi-branch operations will be an added advantage.
