Responsibilities

  • A Bellman is responsible for escorting arriving and departing guests in a friendly, courteous manner to and from their accommodations, transporting their luggage. Acquaints each guest with room and features.
  • A Bellman is responsible for keeping guest’s luggage safely in the designated Luggage Room.

Luggage Porter & Door Attendant Support

· Ensure DoubleTree by Hilton Brand Service Standards are consistently practiced by all team members.

· To be an enthusiastic, positive and vibrant member of the Concierge Department, delivering outstanding service to all our guests at all times and in all circumstances.

· To welcome all guests to our Hotel with a smile, acknowledging them for the duration of their stay and taking a genuine interest in them.

· To be totally familiar with all facilities, functions and special events in the Hotel on a daily basis, assisting guests with any inquiries.

· To be aware of all services which the DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside offers, inclusive of recreational, food and beverage, guest services, special events and promotions.

· To move guest luggage to and from their rooms in a prompt, safe manner.

· To physically execute guest room changes ensuring the appropriate documentation is completed and distributed.

· To be totally familiar with all features of our guest rooms, taking the time to explain them fully to guests when escorting them to their room.

· To accept and deliver messages, faxes and parcels within the hotel for both hotel guests and hotel Team Members.

· To correctly label and securely store any luggage and/or other items as requested by guests in the storage areas.

· To be fully conversant with all local, city and regional tourist services inclusive of tours, points of interest, restaurants, special events, transportation and other concierge services that guests expect of our Hotel.

· To ensure the cleanliness of hotel driveway, bell desk, luggage room and hotel lobby.

· To responsibly undertake the role of door attendant and ensure that the hotel entrance door is manned at all times.

· To be pro-active in the efficient operation of the Concierge Department.

· To be fully conversant with the Hotel Emergency and Evacuation procedures.

· Ensure that there is a thorough handover at the completion of each shift.

To take a personal interest in the presentation and first impression of the Hotel Driveway, ensuring at all times its appearance is of the highest possible standard befitting the Hotel’s reputation for service excellence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
