Role Description: The Assistant Executive Mechanical is a full-time, on-site role based in Chemor, supporting the mechanical operations and maintenance of cement plant equipment. This role involves assisting in the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance for various mechanical systems, including conveyors, crushers, mills, pumps, and rotating equipment. The individual will help monitor equipment performance, diagnose faults, coordinate repair activities with internal teams and external contractors, and ensure the timely completion of maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate maintenance records, supporting spare parts management, and contributing to reliability improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on skills in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of rotating and static equipment (e.g., pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, crushers, kilns, mills).
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices, maintenance planning, and basic reliability concepts.
• Working knowledge of safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards and safe work practices in an industrial setting.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional operations, engineering, and contractor teams.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; relevant technical certifications are an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Chemor, support shift, or extended hours when required
