Summary

The Data Center Solution Manager is responsible for providing technical leadership and consultative support to customers on data center solutions, infrastructure requirements, and technical specifications. This role serves as the key bridge between customers, sales, engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements and are delivered successfully.

The incumbent must possess strong technical expertise in data center technologies, including power, cooling, network infrastructure, security, connectivity, and facility requirements. The role requires frequent engagement with customers, site visits, technical presentations, solution design, and cross-functional collaboration to support project delivery and business growth

Responsibilities

Solution Design & Customer Consultation

1. Engage with customers to understand business, technical, and operational requirements
2. Provide consultation and technical recommendations on data center infrastructure, colocation, connectivity, cloud, and managed services solutions.
3. Conduct requirement gathering, technical discussions, and solution workshops with customers.
4. Develop solution proposals, technical specifications, scope of work, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
5. Prepare and deliver technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and customer briefings.

Technical & Project Supports

1. Act as the subject matter expert for data center-related technologies and solutions.
2. Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Network, Facilities, and Project teams to ensure solution feasibility and successful implementation.
3. Support project planning, technical reviews, and customer acceptance processes.
4. Assist project teams in resolving technical issues during implementation and commissioning stages.
5. Ensure solutions comply with industry standards, customer requirements, and company best practices.

Stakeholder Management.

1. Serve as the primary technical point of contact throughout the solution lifecycle.
2. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely project execution and customer satisfaction.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, consultants, and technology partners.
4. Participate in customer meetings, site surveys, and technical assessments.

Business Development Support.

1. Support pre-sales activities and strategic business initiatives.
2. Identify opportunities for service enhancement and solution improvements.
3. Stay updated on emerging data center technologies, industry trends, and market developments.
4. Provide technical input for RFPs, RFQs, tenders, and customer proposals.

Requirements.

1. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Data Center Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Data Center, Telecommunications, Network Infrastructure, Cloud, or IT Solutions environments.
3. At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial capacity is preferred.
4. Proven experience in solution design, customer consultation, and technical project delivery
5. Strong knowledge in:
