Job Descriptions

• First in line to respond and attend breakdown, troubleshoot and analyze problem with biomedical equipment, ensuring all clinical equipment are functioning well
• Perform assigned in-house preventive planned maintenance, installation, repairs, calibrations and safety testing on biomedical equipment
• Monitors and maintain quality control of services provided by outside vendors for equipment under service contracts
• Providing equipment operation demonstrations and applications, instructing other healthcare staff in use and care of equipment to prevent breakdown which will incur cost of repair or replacement
• Evaluates and participates on vendor's demonstration, providing input on proposed equipment by clinical staff/ consultant base on market share coverage, user friendliness, vendor's after sales service, spare part availability
• Maintains anticipated needs and healthy stock inventory level by placing orders in accordance to par level
• Produce, review and make assessments of various reports related to work completion, unfinished work, preventive maintenance completion rates and repetition equipment failure, abiding strict timeline reporting daily to COO (Ope and Adm)
• Maintain safe and healthy working environment by conducting safety tests, recommending and complying with procedures, training and guiding medical and healthcare personnel
• Provide technical recommendations as and when required
• Provide mentoring to biomedical staff
• Develop work schedules for biomed staff and make adjustment as needed to accommodate changing workload
• Perform administrative tasks as required, eg: Gantt Chart, BER, PR, WO
• Monitor monthly expenditure and work with COO (Ope and Adm) and procurement department in recommending how best to control equipment service related cost
• Recommended equipment replacement or disposal based on equipment age, failure rate, cost of service and overall ability to support the clinical use

Job Requirements

• Possess at least Diploma/Bachelor Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• A fast and continuous learner, especially in this fast-changing technology-driven start-up environment
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and self-discipline
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Good in computer literacy
• Strong integrity, commitment and maintain a high level of confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
