Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Procurement Executive to support procurement operations, strategic sourcing, and vendor management across project-related purchases and indirect categories, including packing consumables, spare parts, facilities, office and operational equipment, and MRO supplies.
This role involves both local and regional sourcing (including Singapore, Johor, China ad hoc sourcing, and APAC markets), and requires close coordination with internal stakeholders, vendors, to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
This role will support the Business Support Manager in overseeing procurement operations while serving as a senior point of reference for the procurement team, with exposure to management-level initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect materials and services
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers across APAC and local markets
- Prepare RFQs, perform price comparisons, and conduct commercial analysis
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract terms
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Maintain updated vendor database
2. Procurement Operations
- Manage end-to-end procurement and process Purchase Orders
- Evaluate vendor pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines
- Support project-based sourcing and ensure timely fulfilment
- Liaise with vendors on specifications and documentation
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment
- Work with warehouse team to ensure timely receipt of goods
3. Reporting & Administration
- Prepare procurement and cost analysis reports
- Update procurement Asana tracker daily for team bi-weekly review
- Support proposal evaluations and internal justifications
- Maintain proper documentation and records
4. Team Support & Coordination
- Support the Business Support Manager in overseeing procurement operations while serving as a senior point of reference for the procurement team
- Provide guidance and support to junior procurement team members
- Review procurement documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Contribute to a collaborative and efficient team environment
6. Strategic & Cross-Functional Exposure
- Support management-level initiatives and project-based procurement activities
- Provide insights based on cost analysis and supplier performance
- Coordinate across functions to align procurement with project timelines
7. Other Duties
- Any other tasks assigned by Management
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant procurement experience
- Strong experience in sourcing, vendor management, and negotiation
- Familiar with APAC and local sourcing markets
- Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
