Jobs Responsibilities
1. Prepare and cook food items according to the Company’s recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
2. Ensure all food preparation meets the required measurements in grams, pieces, or portions as stated in the recipe standards.
3. Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation at all times.
4. Assist in receiving, checking, and arranging stock deliveries neatly in designated storage areas.
5. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize wastage.
6. Keep the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized at all times.
7. Comply with food safety, hygiene, halal (if applicable), health, and safety standards.
8. Minimize ingredient wastage and monitor stock usage effectively.
9. Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
10.Follow all kitchen SOPs and instructions from the Supervisor or Head Chef.
Requirement:
No prior experience required — comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
Fresh graduates and school leavers are encouraged to apply.
Possession of a valid Food Handling Certificate is preferred.
Basic culinary knowledge, including food preparation techniques and understanding of cooking methods.
Awareness of hygiene and food safety standards, and halal compliance (if applicable).
Basic understanding of menu design, food costing, and inventory control is an advantage.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure positively.
Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin for the role requires liaising with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
Passionate about food, innovative, disciplined and service-oriented.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
