Responsibilities
Job Summary
A Lifeguard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure aquatic environment by preventing accidents, monitoring swimmer activity, and responding immediately to emergencies. The role requires constant vigilance, strong swimming ability, rescue skills, and knowledge of water safety procedures. Lifeguards also provide first aid and CPR when necessary and ensure all facility rules are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
-Monitor swimmers and surrounding areas to prevent accidents.
-Enforce pool/beach safety rules and regulations.
-Respond immediately to emergencies and perform water rescues when needed.
-Administer First Aid, CPR, and AED as required.
-Maintain cleanliness and safety of the pool deck and facility areas.
-Inspect rescue equipment and report maintenance concerns.
-Complete incident and accident reports accurately.
-Provide excellent customer service to guests and members.
Qualifications:
-Valid Lifeguard Certification.
-Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
-Strong swimming and rescue skills.
-Excellent observation and communication skills.
-Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
-Physically fit and able to respond quickly in emergency situations.
