About the Role

The Associate Executive, Material Planning supports the effective coordination and execution of Novugen’s material planning activities. The incumbent requires adequate familiarity in areas of pharmaceutical material planning.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in executing material plans to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components based on production schedules and approved forecasts
  • Create Purchase Requisitions (PRs) based on material shortages and maintain accuracy in material requirements
  • Coordinate with QA/QC for the timely release of raw materials and finished goods
  • Support inventory monitoring to ensure stock levels remain within company norms and align with production needs
  • Maintain accurate material reservations and update the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system
  • Assist in tracking material usage, inventory levels, and supplier delivery performance for monthly MIS reporting
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (CFTs) to optimize materials planning efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Follow up with vendors (where required) to ensure timely material delivery according to agreed lead times
  • Support any adjustments to material plans based on production changes or updated forecasts
  • To ensure timely material requirement as per lead time for ordered materials for scale up, exhibit and commercial usage based on agreed forecast and inventory planning
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, safety guidelines, and quality standards
  • Participate in training as per the Training Needs Identification (TNI) plan for Supply Chain Planning team to support skill development


About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management or related preferred
  • 1-3 years’ related experience from Pharma, FMCG, and Healthcare industries, specifically in Material Planning section. Fresh graduates encouraged to apply
  • Good time management, analytical, planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong intrapreneurial skills and mindset from start up to established organization
  • Versatile and resilient, ability to stay positive in ambiguous environments and work towards delivering results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Intermediate proficiency in using MRP or ERP systems / software / tools relevant to supply chain management, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry etc. E.g. SAP system on MM/PP Module
