Position Overview
The Regional EHS & Security Manager, APJ is a dual-focused, high-impact role responsible for driving Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) governance alongside Corporate Security coordination across allocated APJ countries (including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia, South Korea, and Japan).

Reporting directly to the SRE EHS Head IN&APJ, you will oversee EHS for Asset & Property Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and SRE projects. Concurrently, you will serve as the strategic Regional Security Contact, maintaining a direct line to country CEOs to support Siemens' Duty of Care obligations and linking regional business units with the corporate security team.

You'll make a difference by:
  • Driving Regional EHS Strategy & Compliance: Developing and implementing integrated EHS strategies across assigned APJ countries; ensuring absolute compliance with local/international legislation (OSHA, EPA, ISO standards) and Siemens corporate guidelines for offices, projects, and factories.
  • Managing Risks & Incident Investigations: Evaluating workplace hazards, supporting the development of risk assessments (HIRA/SWMS, PTW), and leading uniform incident investigations to determine root causes, execute Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and deploy safety alerts across the region.
  • Serving as Corporate Security Liaison: Acting as the primary security point of contact for corporate security (CE SEC) and country business units; maintaining close contact and "airtime" with country CEOs to actively support them in fulfilling Siemens' Duty of Care obligations.
  • Overseeing Emergency Preparedness & Fire Safety: Managing the operation, maintenance, and technological advancement of firefighting and emergency response installations; leading local Fire Marshals and organizing comprehensive fire drills and emergency training for security guards and ERT members.
  • Fostering Culture & Vendor Governance: Cultivating Siemens’ Zero Harm Culture (ZHC) and a proactive security mindset through virtual/physical training and campaigns; auditing vendor EHS performance and participating actively in contractor selection and onboarding.
  • Advancing Environmental Sustainability: Driving regional environmental initiatives, managing environmental data reporting via corporate portals, and supporting CSRD audits to enable the APJ team to achieve Siemens’ DEGREE targets.

Your defining qualities:
  • Strong Academic & Professional Foundation: You hold a minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical) or equivalent, paired with an Advanced/Post Diploma in Safety & Environment, a NEBOSH IGC, or a related professional EHS certification.
  • Extensive Domain Expertise: You bring a minimum of 10 years of experience working in EHS-related roles, ideally within real estate, construction, or manufacturing setups spanning multiple sites or countries.
  • Executive Stakeholder Management: You possess proven interpersonal and networking skills, with the distinct ability to confidently engage, influence, and collaborate with senior leadership, including country CEOs and corporate security heads.
  • Operational Adaptability: While you are an expert in EHS methodologies, you possess the learning agility to absorb corporate security training (provided by CE SEC), master corporate security risk management, and understand complex cross-functional business processes.
  • Digital Acumen & Analytical Skills: You are highly proficient in utilizing digital systems and online reporting tools to manage dashboards, track KPIs, publish quarterly reports, and extract data-driven insights.
  • Values-Driven Leadership: You are result-oriented with a strong sense of urgency, excellent English communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What we offer
  • Flexibility: Inclusive and flexible working environment with hybrid and remote options.
