Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting Support
- Manage and oversee full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Prepare management accounts on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal reporting standards and deadlines.
- Support financial reporting activities for statutory and management purposes.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation in accordance with applicable accounting standards (MFRS where relevant).
- Maintain and strengthen internal control processes to ensure financial accuracy, integrity, and operational efficiency.
- Review and improve accounting workflows, processes, and SOPs to enhance reporting timeliness and accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in full set of accounts (this is the key requirement).
- Experience in construction, property development, audit, or similar industries is an added advantage but not mandatory.
- Consolidation experience is not required but will be an advantage.
- Independent, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical skills and good stakeholder communication abilities.
