Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end process of applying, renewing, and maintaining business licenses and permits for all outlets and corporate operations.
• Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Monitor expiration timelines and ensure timely submission of renewal documentation.
• Ensure that all business operations are in full legal compliance, particularly in relation to business licenses, premise approvals, signage permits, etc.
• Maintain proper records of all licenses and regulatory documents.
• Provide administrative support in compiling and submitting necessary paperwork to relevant agencies.
• Work closely with internal teams (Legal, Operations, Store Development, etc.) and external parties (consultants, local councils, landlords) to facilitate smooth approval and licensing processes.
• Support site openings, relocations, and closures from an administrative and regulatory standpoint.
• Continuously review and improve administrative workflows to reduce delays and improve accuracy in licensing and compliance management.
• Stay up to date with regulatory changes and update internal SOPs accordingly.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field.
• Minimum 6–8 years of working experience in business licensing, corporate administration, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, especially with government agencies and local authorities.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight timelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
