Job Summary
Responsible for supervising housekeeping staff and ensuring all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are cleaned and maintained according to hotel standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Assign duties and schedules to housekeeping attendants.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, and performance.
- Ensure sufficient housekeeping supplies and linens are available.
- Report maintenance issues and follow up on repairs.
- Train new employees on cleaning procedures and hotel standards.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and hotel policies.
- Prepare housekeeping reports and update room status.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent.
- At least 1–2 years experience in housekeeping or supervisory role.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures and safety standards.
- Responsible, disciplined, and able to work in a team.
Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
