Responsibility
Provide daily IT helpdesk support to ensure smooth operations for students, academic staff, and administrative staff.
Maintain and monitor IT support requests, inventories, and computer laboratory equipment.
Support and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues, including wireless access points and switches.
Assist with IT setup, cabling, and technical support for university events and activities.
Manage and maintain servers, operating systems, software installations, and system configurations.
Ensure IT systems and networks are secure from unauthorized access and disruptions.
Prepare documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and recommend system improvements when necessary.
Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant IT support experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
Knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and server management.
Familiarity with troubleshooting IT systems, network devices, and operating systems.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support users effectively.
Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and respond promptly to IT issues.
Experience in educational institution IT support will be an added advantage.
