We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Engineer to oversee the maintenance, operation, and improvement of building facilities and property assets. The successful candidate will ensure all engineering systems are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

* Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of building services and facilities, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and lift systems

* Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of property assets

* Conduct regular inspections of buildings and facilities to identify maintenance requirements and safety concerns

* Coordinate and supervise contractors, service providers, and maintenance personnel

* Monitor maintenance budgets, expenditures, and service contracts

* Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, safety regulations, and statutory inspections

* Investigate and resolve building defects, tenant complaints, and technical issues

* Prepare maintenance reports, technical documentation, and recommendations for improvement works

* Support renovation, upgrading, and asset enhancement projects

* Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, equipment warranties, and service schedules

Requirements

* Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or related field

*Experience in property management, facilities management, building maintenance, or engineering operations will be an added advantage

* Knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, fire protection systems, and building maintenance practices

* Familiar with local authority requirements and building safety regulations

* Strong problem-solving, planning, and project coordination skills

* Ability to manage contractors and multiple maintenance activities simultaneously

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

* Possession of relevant competency certificates (e.g., Chargeman, BO, AO, or other engineering certifications) will be an added advantage

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
