Job description:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing manual and actuated valve projects from project kick-off until completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to customer requirements. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, clients, SCM, Production, QHSE, and other internal teams for project scheduling, documentation, inspection, shipment, and overall project execution. The Project Engineer will also monitor project progress, resolve project issues, and maintain good communication with customers and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in manual and actuated valve systems or Oil & Gas industry
Experience in project coordination, supplier management, scheduling, inspection, and project documentation
Strong knowledge in project planning, budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and risk management
Familiar with project management tools/software and technical documentation processes
Good communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams including SCM, Production, QHSE, Engineering, Finance, and Clients
Able to manage multiple projects and work within tight deadlines
Experience in handling inspections, expediting activities, shipment coordination, and project close-out activities
Self-motivated, organized, analytical, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Experience in Oil & Gas, flow control, valves, or industrial projects will be an added advantage
