Job Description

Responsibilities


1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle in compliance with Malaysian employment laws and company policies.

  • Prepare and publish job advertisements through appropriate recruitment channels.

  • Screen applications, coordinate interviews, and assist in candidate selection.

  • Prepare employment offers, appointment letters, and onboarding documentation.

2. Employee Records & HR Administration
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.

  • Manage records related to employment contracts, attendance, leave, salary adjustments, and job transfers/promotions.

  • Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of employee information.

3. Payroll & Employee Benefits Administration
  • Process monthly payroll accurately and within the stipulated timeline.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other related regulations.

  • Administer employee benefits, claims, leave entitlements, and insurance matters in accordance with company policies and Malaysian labour laws.

4. Performance Management
  • Assist in developing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for employees.

  • Coordinate performance appraisal exercises and support performance improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure performance management practices align with organisational goals and standards.

5. Employee Relations & Workplace Culture
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and productive working environment.

  • Promote teamwork, employee engagement, and effective communication across departments.

  • Address employee concerns and assist in resolving workplace conflicts professionally.

6. Office Administration & Operations
  • Oversee daily office administrative operations to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow.

  • Monitor office supplies, equipment, maintenance, and facility management.

  • Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards.

7. Company Events & Employee Engagement
  • Plan and coordinate company events, including annual dinners, team-building activities, festive celebrations, and company trips.

  • Support initiatives that strengthen employee morale, engagement, and team spirit.

8. Ad Hoc Assignments
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or management from time to time.

  • Support departmental and organisational objectives through flexible and proactive contributions.
