Technical Product Development & Feasibility

• Conduct Feasibility Studies (FS) for new products based on customer drawings, ensuring manufacturability and material availability.
• Coordinate across Assembly and Felting departments to evaluate production capabilities.
• Prepare comprehensive feasibility reports and technical specifications for customer review.

Quotation & Documentation Management

• Manage full-cycle quotation preparation, utilizing price management systems to detail tooling and processing costs.
• Execute professional PPAP documentation, including FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and Sample Inspection reports.
• Maintain and update Work Instructions (WI) based on SSEC standards to ensure process consistency.

Sample Coordination & Logistics

• Oversee Sample Production across Felting, Dipping, Assembly, and QC departments.
• Manage end-to-end logistics for samples, including DHL shipments, air waybills, and packaging documentation.
• Ensure rigorous testing protocols, including waterproof and measurement tests, meet customer requirements.

R&D & Material Research

• Lead Material Analysis (cloth and foam) through FO and waterproof testing to enhance product quality.
• Conduct Product Improvement trials using nitrocellulose solutions and validate results through hardness testing.
• Identify and recommend new raw materials/components to support operational growth.

Operational Support

• Provide professional translation support for internal and external technical documentation.
• Act as a key liaison between Sales, QC, and Production departments to ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Materials, Mechanical, Industrial), Polymer/Materials Science, or a closely related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of progressive working experience in a Research & Development, Technical, or Quality role within a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) or Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Software Proficiency: Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular focus on Excel for data analysis.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage to facilitate coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
