Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions at site level, supporting both operational and strategic business objectives.
This role plays a critical part in workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, organizational development, and HR operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Business Partnering
- Align HR strategies with business goals and operational requirements
- Partner closely with site leadership on workforce planning and organizational development
- Provide data-driven HR insights to support decision-making
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for technical and operational roles
- Build talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs
- Strengthen employer branding initiatives to attract quality talent
Employee & Industrial Relations
- Manage employee relations matters in compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution professionally
- Foster a positive and productive work environment
Performance Management & Development
- Drive performance management processes including appraisals and feedback cycles
- Identify training needs and implement development programs
- Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives
Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee payroll coordination, compensation structures, and benefits administration
- Participate in salary benchmarking and annual salary review exercises
- Ensure fair and competitive compensation practices
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies
- Maintain accurate HR records and reporting systems
- Lead HR audits and governance compliance activities
Culture & Employee Engagement
- Promote a strong organizational culture and employee engagement initiatives
- Support retention strategies and change management activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 8–10 years of HR experience with at least 3–5 years in managerial role
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or heavy industry environment is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and industrial relations practices
- Able to manage HR operations independently in site-based environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
