· Manage tender process for selection of suitable contractor.

· Liaison with the management and contractors on technical and commercial matters.

· Communicate with the management, and contractors on the adjustments to cost.

· Prepare project reports.

· Control project scope and cost to meet project objectives.

· Taking off and measurements to verify quantities for tender.

· Prepare cost analysis and form cost reduction strategies.

· Prepare price forecast on the cost of the different materials needed for the project.

· Track changes to the design and construction work and adjust budget.

· Procure or agree the services of contractors.

· Measure and value the work done on site.

· Verify contractor’s claims and prepare payment certificates.

· Select and source construction materials.

· Prepare letter of award to contractors.
