About the role

HIJAU GROUP is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Executive (Civil) to join our dynamic team in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. In this contract role, you will play a crucial part in delivering our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards. With a focus on civil engineering, you will collaborate closely with our project managers and site teams to oversee all aspects of project execution.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating and monitoring all civil engineering activities on site, including site supervision, quality control and progress reporting

• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery

• Identifying and resolving any technical or logistical issues that arise during construction

• Maintaining accurate project records and documentation

• Supporting the project managers in planning, scheduling and budgeting for construction projects

• Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations

• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior members of the project team

What we're looking for

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Executive or similar role in the construction industry

• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials and equipment

• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

• Knowledge of relevant construction regulations and safety standards
