Position: Project Engineer
a) Schedule & Planning
- Develop and prepare detailed construction work programmes and master schedules.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules for design, procurement, and construction phases.
- Update and revise project timelines based on site progress and project requirements.
- Prepare short-term and long-term planning schedules.
- Monitor project milestones and ensure activities are aligned with the approved schedule.
- Assist in tender planning and baseline programme preparation.
b) Progress Monitoring
- Monitor and track project progress against the approved baseline schedule.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and schedule updates.
- Conduct progress analysis and identify variances between planned and actual work progress.
- Ensure project activities comply with project timelines and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate site progress data collection and reporting.
c) Risk Mitigation
- Identify critical path activities and monitor potential delays.
- Analyze project risks, bottlenecks, and scheduling conflicts.
- Develop mitigation, contingency, and recovery plans to minimize project delays.
- Recommend corrective actions to improve project performance and productivity.
- Assist in delay analysis and extension of time (EOT) evaluations when necessary.
d) Coordination, Communication & Record
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams regarding project schedules and progress.
- Coordinate and record project activities to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.
- Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and progress review discussions.
- Ensure effective communication between departments involved in project execution.
- Provide planning and scheduling support to project teams.
e) Resource & Cost Control
- Plan and allocate manpower, machinery, and materials according to project requirements and critical path activities.
- Monitor resource utilization and productivity.
- Assist in cost control and project budgeting through proper planning and scheduling.
- Ensure efficient use of resources to achieve project objectives.
- Support procurement planning and material delivery schedules.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
