About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects with a strong focus on hospital and healthcare facilities. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who excels in managing complex developments, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will play a critical role in ensuring successful project execution from planning and design coordination through construction, commissioning, and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for construction and hospital development projects.
- Plan, coordinate, monitor, and supervise all project activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, procurement, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, engineers, authorities, and stakeholders.
- Ensure all construction works comply with safety regulations, healthcare standards, and quality requirements.
- Monitor site progress, conduct project meetings, and prepare detailed progress reports.
- Resolve technical, operational, and project-related issues efficiently.
- Oversee contract administration, tender evaluations, and vendor management.
- Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and project compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement in project execution, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in construction project management.
- Prior experience managing hospital, healthcare, or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, and contract management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiar with local authority requirements, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is an added advantage.
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
