Job Description

Responsibilities

Requirements:

-Each candidate must submit a full resume complete with supporting documents.

-Possess Bachelor Degree in Engineering or higher/ related qualification.

-A Certified Energy Manager (CEM)/ Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM) by Suruhanjaya Tenaga

- Minimum (3) years of working experience working in related with facilities management, operation and maintenance in building.

Job scope :

  • Energy Audits and Assessments:Conduct energy audits to assess current energy consumption and identify areas for improvement.
  • Energy Efficiency Strategies:Develop and implement energy conservation and efficiency strategies to reduce energy consumption.
  • Regulatory Compliance:Stay up to date with local, state, and federal energy and environmental regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with energy-related reporting requirements and standards.
  • Budget Management:Develop and manage budgets related to energy and sustainability projects.
  • Identify and secure available incentives, rebates, or grants for energy efficiency projects.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:Monitor and analyze energy consumption data regularly.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate energy efficiency progress to management and stakeholders.
  • Training and Education:Educate facility staff on energy conservation practices and the importance of sustainability.
  • Provide training on the proper use of energy-efficient equipment.
  • Vendor and Contractor Management:Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to implement energy-saving projects.
  • Evaluate proposals and contracts for energy-related work.
  • Performance Monitoring:Continuously monitor and track the performance of energy systems and technologies.
  • Identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with various stakeholders, including facility managers, engineers, and executives, to ensure alignment with energy and sustainability goals.
  • Emergency Response Planning:Develop and implement plans for managing energy-related emergencies, such as power outages or equipment failures.
