• Responsible for the maintenance of following areas under the supervision of his superiors and work in round the clock shifts as necessary:

- SAS, PLCs and SCADA Systems,
- Industrial Communications Network,
- Instrumentation,
- Paging System,
- Plant-wide Telephone System,
- All Weigh Bridges, Hoppers, Platforms and Belt Weigh Systems,
- Fire Protection Systems,
- Instrument Work-shop

• To perform wiring changes and laying of cables.
• To perform minor fabrication and mechanical works like fixing of JBs, conduit fixing and cable tray fixing etc.
• To cover all shift jobs and record his activities in the logbook.
• To perform general cleaning of the work place (after his work) and housekeeping jobs as necessary.
• Daily checks and give feedback in the form of checklists.
• Troubleshoot all instrument related problems and report to the SV for his guidance.
• Repair and refurbish the defective instruments in the Instrument workshop.
• To perform test fibre optic cables whenever necessary.
• To carry out planned/predictive maintenance as per ERP/ON KEY issued job cards and reports back on the status.
• To participate in various safety drills and meeting that conducted time to time.
• To comply company Safety Policy and Procedures; and
• To undertake any other job assigned by immediate superior or Management from time to time

Job Requirements:-

• Candidate must possess at least minimum Diploma in Instrumentation & Automation related discipline
• Have at least 2 years of instrument & automation experience in the manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of chemicals process in relation to production machinery and equipment will be an added advantage
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (speaking and writing)
