ResponsibilityJob Summary
Responsible for daily logistics coordination and follow-up. This role mainly liaises with freight forwarders, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution, timely information flow, and quick handling of any issues.
Key Responsibilities
1. Shipment Coordination
- Liaise with freight forwarders on booking, shipment arrangements, and transportation progress.
- Ensure shipments are dispatched as scheduled and obtain timely ETD/ETA updates.
- Track in-transit shipments and provide regular updates to relevant parties
- Assist in handling delays, customs clearance issues, and other logistics exceptions.
2. Communication Hub
- Act as the main point of contact between customers, forwarders, and internal teams.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding shipment status.
- Communicate key updates (shipment schedules, delays, exceptions) to relevant departments.
- Coordinate order priorities and delivery arrangements.
3. Documentation Coordination
- Provide the necessary shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, etc.) to forwarders.
- Follow up on customs declaration documents (K1/K2) and transportation documentation.
- Review key documents to ensure accuracy.
- Organize and maintain proper filing of all shipment-related documents.
4. Data & System Update
- Update the shipment status and related information in the system.
- Maintain order and logistics records.
- Track key data (e.g., shipment quantities, transit time)
- Ensure data is timely, accurate, and traceable.
5. Warehouse Coordination
- Coordinate with warehouse on cargo readiness and shipment schedules
- Manage shipment priorities to meet customer delivery requirements
- Ensure actual shipments match order details.
- Closely follow up on urgent or exceptional orders.
Requirements
- Diploma or above in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain.
- Familiar with basic import/export processes.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to handle multiple tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Location - Mantin, Negeri Sembilan
Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Lunch break 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.)
Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
