Responsibility
A Project Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining automated systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software components. The role involves supporting automation projects, troubleshooting machine issues, and improving manufacturing efficiency and system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechatronic and automation systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, and control system issues
- Support machine installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance
- Develop and improve automated manufacturing processes
- Prepare technical drawings, documentation, and reports
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams
- Conduct system testing, calibration, and performance analysis
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Support continuous improvement and cost reduction activities
- Work with sensors, robotics, servo motors, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years working experience in automation or manufacturing industry (fresh graduates may apply)
- Knowledge of PLC programming, robotics, and control systems
- Familiar with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software
- Basic programming knowledge in C++, Python, or MATLAB is an advantage
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Able to work independently and under pressure
- Willing to travel or work overtime when required
Preferred Skills
* Experience in automation equipment and robotic systems
* Knowledge of IoT, SCADA, and industrial networking
* Understanding of manufacturing processes and machine integration
* Hands-on experience with sensors and instrumentation systems
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
