Job Title: Protégé M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) Engineer / TraineeJob Summary:
The Protégé M&E Engineer role is designed for fresh graduates to gain practical experience in mechanical and electrical engineering works within construction or infrastructure projects. The trainee will assist senior engineers in monitoring installation works, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, and supporting project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers in supervising Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installation works on-site.
- Support inspection and monitoring of electrical, mechanical, and building services systems.
- Assist in reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Monitor work progress and ensure installations comply with project requirements and standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants regarding M&E works.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and quality inspections of M&E systems.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and site records.
- Participate in site meetings and technical discussions.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of M&E systems in construction projects is an advantage.
- Willing to work both on-site and in office environments.
Skills & Competencies:
- Basic understanding of M&E systems (HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is an advantage.
Pay: RM1,999.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
