Sales Person Executive (EM)
Based in Inanam, Kota Kinabalu
Purpose of Role
A Food Industry Sales Executive drives revenue growth by acquiring new clients (HORECA, retail, or distributors) and managing existing & new accounts to meet sales targets. Responsibilities include product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, managing inventory orders, coordinating deliveries, and analyzing market trends to expand brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Target Achievement: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly/annual KPIs and revenue targets.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and proactive lead generation in HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, Café) or retail sectors.
- Account Management: Service existing customers by managing orders, ensuring product availability, and fostering long-term relationships.
- Product Promotion & Listing: Introduce new products, negotiate shelf space, and coordinate in-store promotions or sampling sessions.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, analyze sales data, and report market trends to management.
- Operational Coordination: Liaise with customer service, logistics, and QA teams for product delivery, quality issues, and inventory management.
- Financial Duties: Assist with collections, debt management, and payment reconciliation.
Job Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience in sales within the F&B, FMCG, or retail industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Possess a valid driver's license and own transport for client visits.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet targets.
- Ability to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage
