Job description
- Monitor and oversee daily operations of the facility during assigned shifts.
- Respond swiftly to any incidents or issues, including safety or maintenance concerns, coordinating with relevant departments as needed.
- Ensure adherence to established safety protocols and emergency procedures at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility, identifying and reporting maintenance needs or hazards.
- Managing the building facilities and office/building equipment including of lifts, plumbing, air- conditioners, mechanical and electrical, security, pest, landscaping, cleaning and all works related to scheme.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and security teams to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, safety and functionality.
- Oversee all maintenance and repair of Mechanical and Electrical and Civil works or and services including lifts, gen-sets and etc, perform preventative maintenance work, determine system problems and make recommendations for repair, review and evaluate the quality of vendor work.
- Act as the main point of contact for tenants, vendors and visitors & addressing inquiries and providing assistance.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of all incidents, maintenance requests and other relevant activities.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring energy-saving initiatives within the facility.
- Provide guidance and support to on-site staff, ensuring service standards are met.
- Report major issues or incidents to top management in a timely and accurate manner.
Job Requirements
a) Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Building/ Property Management, Building Surveying or equivalent.
b) At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
c) Professional certifications in facility management (e.g., IFMA, FMP, CFM) are an added advantage.
d) Knowledge of building systems, mechanical & electrical, and plumbing.
e) Certification in safety or emergency management is an advantage.
f) Able to work immediately
g) Working Hour(s) in Office: 9am - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
h) Contactable out of working hours and standby to resolve urgent issues.
i) Possess own transport (car).
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
