Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting project quotation activities before project nomination by preparing quality planning documents and quality-related data.
• Develop control methods and inspection frequency based on product special characteristics to ensure effective control of critical characteristics.
• Participate in PFMEA development and review.
• Lead the preparation and updating of Prototype Control Plans, Trial Production Control Plans, and Mass Production Control Plans.
• Responsible for fixture/gauge solution review, monitor the gauge development process, and ensure successful acceptance and MSA completion to meet usage requirements.
• Responsible for consolidating quality issue lists during all development stages, tracking problem resolution, and preparing 8D reports for customer feedback issues.
• Conduct process capability studies to ensure Cpk > 1.33.
• Track the PPAP approval process, collect PPAP documentation and related reviews, submit to customers, and obtain PSW approval.

Requirements

• Experience in quality management within an automotive parts manufacturing environment; assembly experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of production floor quality control methods and processes.
• Familiar with IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3/6.5 standards.
• Proficient in quality tools and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in 8D problem-solving and corrective actions.
• Good spoken English with the ability to communicate with customers and handle PPAP documentation.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
