About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Inspector of Works (IOW) – Civil & Structural (C&S) to join us. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site construction activities, ensuring all civil and structural works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor all civil & structural works at site.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, contract specifications, and quality standards.
• Check workmanship, materials, and site progress.
• Report any defects, non-compliance, or delays to Project Manager / Resident Engineer.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel.
• Witness testing, material inspections, and site measurements.
• Maintain daily site reports, inspection records, and progress documentation.
• Ensure site safety procedures and regulations are followed at all times.
• Attend site meetings when required.
• Assist in resolving technical and site issues promptly.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field.
• Registered / certified Inspector of Works (preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years working experience in building / infrastructure / construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil & structural construction methods and materials.
• Familiar with Malaysian building regulations and safety standards.
• Able to read construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Willing to work in Sarawak project site.
• Able to start immediately will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high-rise / commercial / industrial / infrastructure projects.
• Familiar with QAQC inspection procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and site coordination skills.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
