Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction according to hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel SOPs and standards.
- Change bed linens, pillowcases, and towels.
- Replenish guest supplies and amenities.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust assigned areas.
- Clean bathrooms, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
- Ensure all rooms are properly arranged and inspected before guest check-in.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items immediately.
- Handle guest requests politely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping pantry, trolley, and equipment.
- Follow safety, hygiene, and hotel security procedures at all times.
- Support laundry or public area cleaning when required.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent.
- Experience in housekeeping/hotel industry is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Responsible, disciplined, and attention to detail.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Working Conditions
- Shift basis operation.
- Uniform provided by company.
- May require overtime during peak periods.
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
