Job Title: Process Technician
Job Summary:
The Process Technician is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving manufacturing or production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. The role involves troubleshooting equipment, optimizing processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production equipment and processes to ensure smooth operations
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery
- Identify process issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications
- Record and analyze production data to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize processes
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations
- Assist in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives
- Maintain proper documentation of processes, maintenance, and reports
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field)
- Proven experience in manufacturing or production environment (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment
- Familiar with process control and quality standards
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Willing to work in shifts if required
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
- Experience with PLC systems or automation
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, data recording systems)
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing or production floor environment
- Exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
- May require shift work, overtime, or weekend duty
Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
