Responsibilities
The Contract Assistant is responsible for assisting the Assistant Contract Manager / Quantity Surveyor in preparing and managing documents related to the Contract Department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of contractual and procurement requirements.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
1. Assist in the preparation of procurement documents for tendering works, including proposed list of tenderers, tender invitations, unit rate comparisons, and Tender Evaluation Reports.
2. Prepare payments to sub-contractors for routine, periodic, and emergency maintenance works.
3. Draft and issue contract documents such as Letters of Award, Work Orders, Notices of Commencement of Work, and other related documents as required.
4. Prepare Final Account Statements and Final Payments.
5. Conduct site valuations and measurements when required.
6. Ensure all task compliance with ISO procedures.
7. Review and verify contract documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
The incumbent must have at least two (2) years relevant working experience.
Education Qualification
The incumbent must possess a Diploma / Certificate in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent
Knowledge
The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
- Contract Management: Understanding of the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, monitoring, renewal, and closure.
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Awareness of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards that govern contracts.
- Business & Commercial Acumen: Knowledge of business operations, procurement processes, and commercial terms to assess risk and value.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
