Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive (Offline Sales) to expand our offline retail presence within the pet industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with pet shop owners, and driving sales growth through effective negotiation and trade marketing execution.This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy face-to-face interactions, are confident in negotiation, and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales Expansion
- Identify and approach potential retail partners, including pet shops, pet marts, and related businesses.
- Conduct regular outlet visits to secure product listings and increase market penetration.
- Negotiate shelf placements, promotional opportunities, and product visibility within stores.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and business growth objectives.
2. Trade Marketing Execution
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute in-store promotions, product demonstrations, and visibility campaigns.
- Ensure promotional materials and merchandising displays are properly implemented at retail outlets.
- Support campaign activations to improve brand awareness and sales performance.
3. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with retailers and business partners.
- Provide excellent customer support and ensure retailers receive timely assistance regarding products and promotions.
- Regularly follow up with clients to strengthen partnerships and encourage repeat business.
4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
- Gather feedback from retailers regarding customer preferences and product performance.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to support business growth strategies.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in FMCG, B2B sales, retail sales, or trade marketing is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable with fieldwork and travelling for outlet visits.
- Possessing your own transport and valid driving license is preferred.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
