Technician (Automotive) – Chery Sitiawan

Location: Sitiawan / Seri Manjung, Perak

About Us

We are an authorised Chery dealership in Sitiawan, committed to delivering high-quality aftersales service and customer satisfaction. As our service centre grows, we are looking for skilled and dedicated Technicians to support our workshop operations and ensure excellent vehicle servicing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair work according to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues using diagnostic tools
• Carry out inspections and identify necessary repairs or replacements
• Ensure all work is completed within the given timeline and quality standards
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
• Assist Foreman and Service Advisors in technical matters when required
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) for new vehicles
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Support continuous improvement in workshop efficiency and service quality

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in automotive repair (fresh graduates with relevant training may apply)
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems (mechanical, electrical, and diagnostics)
• Experience working in authorised dealerships is an advantage
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and improve technical skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Possess a valid driving licence
